Taste, color, smell and bite we refine by meticulously tailoring light, climate and nutrition conditions to what the plant requires at a specific moment. Literally we listen to the needs of our crops (and those of our customers). This process is guided by carefully constructed plant profiles.
A relatively small portion of our salad mix can contain as many nutrients as found in the daily recommended amount of vegetables. Our way of growing is clean. We do not use pesticides, fertilizers or land. We get water, food and energy from organic waste, such as from food that has passed its best-before date.
Our state of the art farms are relatively cheap to build and to operate. The cost of our products is significantly lower than other vertical farmers. This is due to our fully automated process. From sowing to packaging, no one needs to get their hands dirty.
